Acceptable Use Policy

1.1 Use searches and Reports to check land you, your client or your institution has a genuine interest in: a purchase, a loan, a dispute, a succession, or your own holding.

1.2 Do not use the Service to profile, track, stalk, harass or intimidate any person, to build lists of people's landholdings for sale, or to find people to target for fraud.

2.1 Upload a Document only if you have the right to share it with us for checking title. If you are a Professional User, make sure your client has authorised you, and follow the Data Processing Addendum.

2.2 Do not upload a forged, altered or stolen document, or one that belongs to a different matter, to obtain a Report you will present as genuine.

As required by rule 3(1)(b) of the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, you must not upload, share or store any information that:

• belongs to another person and you have no right to it;
• is obscene, invasive of another's privacy, harassing, or promotes enmity on grounds of religion, caste or similar;
• is harmful to a child;
• infringes a patent, trademark, copyright or other proprietary right;
• deceives or misleads about its origin, or is patently false and intended to mislead;
• impersonates another person;
• threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, public order, or friendly relations with foreign states;
• contains malware or code designed to disrupt any computer resource;
• violates any law in force.

4.1 Do not present an AI Title Report or any other Report as an advocate's opinion, a Government record, a certified copy, or a bank's approval.

4.2 Do not remove the source citations, disclaimers or our name from a Report you share.

5.1 Do not scrape, crawl, bulk-download or resell the Service or its results, or access it by automated means, except through an API we provide to you in writing.

5.2 Do not probe, scan or test our systems for weaknesses without our written permission. If you find a vulnerability, report it to contact@bhoomiscan.in; we will not take action against good-faith research reported to us first.

5.3 Do not overload the Service, bypass rate limits or payment, or share Account access outside your organisation.

We may remove content, suspend a search or an Account, and report unlawful activity to the authorities, as the Terms of Service (section 15) and the law allow. To report misuse, write to contact@bhoomiscan.in.
